What do you enjoy doing outside of school?
I’m a violinist in a mariachi band called the Chicago Mariachi Project, I work at Navy Pier for SeaDog as a ticket agent, I took part in the iBody Summer Program at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital where I got to shadow and talk with nurses and doctors aside from the dissections we did everyday.
What Extra-curricular are you involved in at school?
I play lacrosse, I am the student body secretary in student council, I am a Friar Mentor where I tutor kids, I’m in Best Buddies which brings awareness to people with disabilities, I’m in NHS, I was recently nominated for the Posse Scholarship, I’m a Daniel Murphy Scholar, and I’m in orchestra!
What is your favorite subject in school?
I loved Algebra, Chemistry, Biology, and Anatomy & Physiology. I hope to become a nurse and then go back to medical school to either become an OB/GYN or a midwife.
What type of community service have you done this year?
My community service has been my involvement with the park district as far as the cheerleading and dance teams as concerned as well as the Teen Leadership program. I also sporadically help with my church’s food pantry.

I want to thank Mr. Laureano for pushing me freshman year and Mr. Santillanes for being the best director.
