My favorite subjects in high school were Math and French. I took up to Multivariable Calc in high school, and I loved the process of analyzing a problem and figuring out the best way to solve it. My favorite HFS memories come from the end of the year celebrations. It was a great time to celebrate all of our accomplishments for that year, celebrate the graduating seniors, and hang out with our friends and families.
How did your mentor help you out?
One of my favorite ways my mentor helped me out was by taking me out to lunch after taking my first ACT test. I was extremely nervous going to the test, and so my mentor suggested meeting afterwards to relax and decompress. It was a great way to take my mind off the test, and I’m grateful to her for doing it!
What do you want to do as a career?
I am still in the process of figuring out my career path, but I would like to work on making the health care system more equitable. I am excited to see how I get there!

HFS has impacted my life for the better. All of the support this community has given me from high school to even now has been tremendously helpful. Beyond the financial help they provided my family with for high school, they gave me a support system that I know I can always count on. Thank you for everything HFS!
